What types of treatment are available for drug abuse?
Better Days offers treatments that can help with every stage of your recovery process, from beginning to end. Here’s a quick look at each of them.
Medical Detox
Every patient’s journey to sobriety must begin with detox. This is when the body gets rid of the last remnants of the drugs that you’ve been abusing. You need to get through this phase successfully so that your body and mind can begin adjusting to life without drugs.
Medical detox makes detox easier to go through. You’ll be watched over by an experiencing team of addiction specialists, who will make sure that you remain safe and healthy throughout the process. We’ll also handle your daily living requirements on our end, so all that you’ll need to do is to remain focused on your healing.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
After detox, an IOP is one of the treatment options available to you. IOPs ask you to spend your days at our treatment center while leaving you in control over how you spend your nights. This makes them an excellent alternative for people who want the rigor of a residential rehab but with the ability to sleep in their own bed at night.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
PHPs are very similar to IOPs. They also leave you in control of your nights while providing you with intensive care during the day. The difference is that a PHP is usually more rigorous than an IOP. So if you’re looking to invest a serious amount of time and energy into your recovery, then a PHP may be the way to go.
Outpatient Program
Our outpatient program provides another way for you to receive personalized care for drug abuse. It differs from our other treatment options in that it’s less rigorous and provides you with a bit more freedom. This makes it a good option for people who have already made some progress with their recovery from substance abuse.
